WINDOWS TO THE PAST
Or rather to past projects. Most of my past online projects for the last few years have tended to be found on livejournal, but among the blogathons, and the nano attempts, and the writing journals I did have a few halting starts on the website thing.
LIFE-PENDING.NU
Life-Pending.nu never really eventuated as a coherant domain, but it was my first domain and thus is worth a mention. An attempt at a hybrid personal/fan site, all of Pendings useful parts got locked away in corners behind a construction sign for two years, only navigable to the few who paid enough attention to catch links and directions occasionally.
It's probably thanks to the utter failure of my motivation over Pending that I can owe my new found enthusiastic productivity for online projects. When it came time to renew Pending I let it expire and got my hands on
poisoned-apples.org with the intention of starting with an fresh slate and hopefully kicking myself into action.
POISONED-APPLES.ORG
Poisoned Apples also co-incided with the first emergence of
Guildmerge.net and
Corycian.org. It started off as simply a new name for the originally intended purpose of
Life-Pending, but only a few months later I started hungering after multiple domain names.
Apples then became a personal site, now viewable (though slightly mutated) under the domain name
AppleBubbleGum.net.
MODERN WICCA/MODERNWICCA.ORG
ModernWicca.org is still up in it's original form today at
Geocities. This was a joint project with a close friend many, many years ago and pretty much my first ever site. As you can see I was just as inclined to overambitious plans and getting distracted before things were finished (just see the long, unfinished list for the menu!)
Not long after I acquired Pending, I also grabbed
modernwicca.org, now expired. I had all kinds of grand intentions of shifting the site over and revamping. It's still a project in the back of my mind, although along very different lines, and possibly with a different name, so really it's an entirely different site I have ideas for. Oh well. It wasn't that bad for a first attempt in rather early high school.
